Redwood is state-licensed family childcare run from our home, which is located on the border of Lakewood and Long Beach. We are open Monday-Friday* from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with an early drop-off option from 8:30am-9:00am. Our school year runs from September through July, observing many of the same breaks and holidays as the Long Beach Unified School District. We enroll children 2 through 5+ years of age and at any stage of potty-learning.
Our teacher-to-child ratio is between 1:6 and 1:4
At Redwood Homeschool we welcome families of all lifestyles and backgrounds, celebrating diversity in all its forms. We seek to create a space where the stories and experiences of our community are seen, valued, and respected by all its members. Alongside the children, we regularly use conversation and reflective thinking to consider the ways that we can all challenge bias within our community.
